  My regular groomer was no longer available so I decided to try out Pet Barn. They sold me the 'deluxe' groom which included an eye treatment/clean. Days later, my dog developed a terrible irritation to his eye and I had to take him to the vet for eye ointment, antibiotics and a cone collar ($200 vet bill, thank you very much!). The Vet told me that my dog had 2 grazes on his eye, which were very recently sustained. Given the dog hadn't been anywhere else or out of the house at all, there can be no other explaination other than the injury being sustained while being groomed. Needless to say Pet Barn denied it and they were real a$$es about it too!

  PS Linda Moon and Pet Barn Management - I was using my previous groomer on a MONTHLY basis for YEARS until they closed down.......I will now direct my business elsewhere.....not sure you approached this matter well at ALL! And lastly, you charged me for a medium size dog, but I discovered (when my Vet weighed) him that he is actually SMALL according to your own weight limits. So you also overcharged me! Well done for a job terribly done!

  The area manager Linda Moon, suggested I send them a letter of demand if I wanted them to pay for the vet bills. So please accept my double finger salute to you :). Instead I have decided to provide my feedback online to save other dogs from similar injuries and spare pet owners from similar ordeals.
